JFK first graders from Ms. Couglhan’s class went on their first field trip in over a year. JFK elementary is lucky enough to be within walking distance of the Connolly Library. Students walked over and met outside with the children’s librarian Sujei Lugo and participated in the Hyde Square story walk to read the book Quinito’s Neighborhood/El vecindario de Quinito by Ina Cumpiano. Students all took home kits to make their own story walks at home.
