The JFK School is a K-6 elementary school serving Jamaica Plain and surrounding neighborhoods of Boston. It is an Extended Learning Time (ELT) school that provides a rigorous curriculum in all areas, but maintains a special focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Within this structure, the teaching of respect, effort, accountability, consideration and honesty are used to create a safe and positive learning environment. These efforts help our students become skillful thinkers, creative problem solvers, effective communicators and confident members of their community.
