School Site Council Responsibilities
- Approves the discretionary spending budget
- Develops and approves plans to increase parent involvement
- Approves waivers to BPS rules and union contracts
- Reviews and approves recommendations that will have a major impact on the school community

Meeting Dates SY 2023-2024
The School Site Council meets on the second Thursday of every month in-person from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at JFK Elementary. Meetings are open and all are welcome to attend! You may contact your student’s teacher, the main office or the JFK Family Council for more info. Meetings include simultaneous Spanish interpretation.
